   Rock Is DeadA Post Apocalyptic; Human, Shifter, Mutant RP. Mad scientists; heh, we've all heard of them yeah. Well the scientists that caused the catastrophe that almost ended Planet Earth we're literally Mad. He was a psychotic patient who reverted his apartment into a fully equip and fully functional laboratory. Rarely leaving his domain to go out into the main world, except if he was in need of supplies, and even then he would have them in bulk also. Never accepting any outsiders into his home, he would remain in solitude apart from the animals that he tested on. Unknowingly by mixing solvents and chemicals together, he'd created an invisible airborne virus that slowly leaked around his apartment and then our into the surrounding areas. This was a length process, but the effects were quickly noticed as humans started to die of unknown causes and some ended up having some physical deformities. No doctors of boffins could pinpoint the outbreak of the leak. Eventually after years the outbreak was traced back to the flat and then the scientist was found dead within it along with many of his animal patients. Armed with bio-hazard gear the government and agencies took care of the situation and got rid of the bodies, however keeping a few of the specimen's to do investigations on. The aftermath of that process has left us with the following; Humans that are uninfected are rare. Many are infected and have different physicality's and mannerisms about them. There are also now shifters and then mutants. The mutants are humans that had been worst affected by the virus and they have had some bodily deformities.
