-Pacing silently through the forest, not a sound to be heard, apart from the bird song above her. Saratina; in her wolf form, was relaxed and at ease, away from the stresses that was 'human' life, away from the city. Most of the time the noise would just get to her, and really, shifting would be the only escape to it. Taking in a deep breath, the mottled hue'd shifter-wolf looked around the tranquil scene before her, the veiw in a wolf's eyes in comparason to a human's it so much better. The image was sharper and enhanced in a way, also being in her wolf form, she's learned all of the traits of a wolf. Many shifters refuse to eat in their shifted form, but with Sara, if you have to do it then she will. Pausing in her tracks, the female's ears pivot upon her head as she listens to the sounds around her. Something was out there and she was aware of it. Lowering her head to level with her spine, the shifter-wolf gazed into all of the avaliable directions to locate what was there with her.- "Who's there?" -She spoke into the forest with a low growl. Nothing but silence followed, setting the female on edge. She turned and started to lope back to the city in fast, well rehersed bounds. Upon reaching near the forests boundary, she slowed and phased back into her human form, not before taking a good note of her surroundings and making sure no-one would see her do so. She stepped out into the city lights and then walked casually down the main high-way the bordered the forest to the city, making sure she seemed like a normal human. With a glance around her, she spotted a male, not too far from herself, he to was just walking alongside the road. Taking a deep breath, she slowed her heart rate, knowing she was too far for his human eyes to see her transform. Saratina crossed the road and moved towards the male in a general casual. -Walking calmly down the the road taking Navarone had his hands in his pocket taking refuge in one of the last few places he can, his mind. " So much has happened since that incident" thougt Nav to himself. "So much I losse." He looked down at his most valuable postion, his necklace and clutches it in his hand examing it for the Hundreth time. " I miss you buddy" He thought looking down for a second. When he looked up he saw a girl walking towards him. He kept on walking til they were only a few steps from each other. He turned his gaze at her scanning her as the walked past each other. He turned his head once to look one more time at her before continuing his walk. He saw the forest not to far ahead of him. "Finnaly im here" mumbles Nav to himself as he entered the woods. He walked on hearing the crunch of leave and other debris under his boots as he moved past tree to tree until he found the old oak he has been looking for. "Here we are" he said to himself as he climbed up the tree to one of the middle branches. He sat on the branch resting his back against the tree with his hand behind his head. "Now finnaly some peace" he thought closing his eyes to take a nap.

-Whilst approaching the male, she could hear him muttering about something, so she slowed down as he came closer. Frowning, she kept her green eyes lowered, but listened intently to him as he passed. Once he had passed, she knew that he was not a shifter, but an uninfected human, which meant that she may have been in danger, had he caught er shifting, But he was caught up in something of his own sorts. Whether or not he knew about shifters, or is he accepted them, she didn't know. She sighed gently then paused further up on a bend. Sara turned, and glanced at the male as he had turned to look at her. Once again she frowned, her long hair was billowing in the breeze as her gaze tracked the male down to the forest from which she had just left. A low chuckle escaped her and Saratina shook her head at the what could have been epic failure of her being exposed as a shifter. Instead she trotted after the male, not long after he had settled on the bench.- "Uhm...what are you doing coming into the forest? ... Don't you know it's dangerous here?" -Sara said in a chirpy tone, as she circled around the bench and then stopped by his feet. She tilted her head and smiled at him. All the while, her shift sense were alert to any potential dangers that may have been lurking in the shadows, but for now, they were safe.- Tags: Saratina & Navarone Status: Open Word Count: 254

-As he was relaxing in his nap, the chirpy voice of a girl brought him wide awake. "Uh what did you say " mumbles Nav wiping his eyes open He looked at the girl standing right in front of him. "I said what are you doing coming into the forest? ... Don't you know it's dangerous here?" He gave of a tired yawn before replying " I came here to have some peace and quiet and of course I know its dangerous here, but who cares its not like anyone cares what happens to me." he said taking out his small sac he carried with him. As he opened the sac up he looked at the girl noting that she was the same one from earlier.(124) "So what are you doing anyway following me" he asked as he took out an apple from his sac and he took out his swiss blade from his back right pocket. He gently but swiftly cut the apple up into slices and he threw a slice in his mouth. He looked back at the girl noting some of the features of her. Her long black hair, her light green eyes and her height and build. "What would a girl like this be doing in the woods going after a random stranger." thought nav to himself as he ate another apple slice enjoying the sweet taste it gave off. As he was finishing his apple slices he looked up at her and asked "So are you going to answer me or what". Waiting for her response he slid his knife back into his pocket.

From above the two gathered beneath, a silent beast clung to the branches which overhung the ground. There was an absolute stillness about this one, whose long claws curved around the bark to leave deep scars across't. With chocolate brown eyes she watched, a silent assassin who hid in the cover. And with a grin, she knew that these two were totally unawares of her presence.
She being Avery, a mutant who resembled a fallen-angel, slavered at the thought of instilling fear in the human, a hatred of the species rooting in her past. Though she remained where she was for a few more moments. The shifter & human were conversing, but she had no concerns for the dialogue; was't not all worthless talk? She crept another inch across the branch, titanium claws binding her with a powerful grip. Careful to ensure that the extension did not snap in two before her very self, she surveyed the ground to decide where to fall. It took a few seconds, then she finally slid across the tree, upwards, and to the other side, from which point she allowed two, great, feathery wings to sprout. Skin split from her shoulder-bones, ebony exploding outwards with the flutter similar to that of a birds. It would normally have hurt her, but she no longer cared for such insignificant points of life. The dusk sky made the beauty of the black assets even more fantastical, and she put them to good use as she glided noiselessly down to the ground.
Her enviable stealth was countered by the sheer span of the limbs, which were a good 5"11' each side. Folding them towards her back, yet not retracting them, she began to stride towards the other organisms, resembling a heaven-sent prophet of God. But what a lie that was, as if there were actually a deity. Avery had long since lost her faith in religion, despite the foundations upon which her mother had raised her. While not actually having a particular belief, Yvette had taught her daughter that the lack of evidence was not the proof of nonexistance. Avery now had a hatred of all those who actually 'had the ignorance to think that such a thing was possible'. Yet if such a thing were true, what was she? How was she here, such a magnificent curse blessing she'd been given.
Her train of thoughts were broken as she advanced, brushing her dark brown hair from her eyes. To appear less of a threat, the girl withdrew her great titanium claws & extended teeth, allowing the skin to stitch itself back up in spite of the white hot agony which flared within her. There was a long, hesitant pause before she spoke in a honey tone.
"Salut," her voice chimed, eyes bearing into the others as if she cared not for interrupting, "you're courageous to venture out here."

Cocking her head she awaited a response, and then she had to repeat herself. A light breeze blew in from the forest behind her, taking a deep breath; she subtly picked up the scent of the forest behind her. While he spoke, Saratina tensed up slightly as she picked up the light scent of someone else with them, but she didn’t allow herself to show any signs of fear. “Hm, well sorry if I disturbed you. But it’s unusual to see people wandering down this part of the city.” Saratina’s voice was calm, and as chirpy as it was when she first spoke the male before her. She watched what the male was doing as he went into his bag, and pulled out a blade, instantly she stiffened, but remained in a semi-relaxed state. When he spoke again she smiled, but listened intently to her surroundings. Her light green eyes darted around the two of them, before long the male said something again. “Huh? Oh, sorry, uhm, I was just wondering around, fancied a change of view I suppose.” Sara’s tone was still calm as her eyes shot here and there, then back to his face. Quickly she sighed lightly then half smiled as the hairs on the back of her neck stood up. “I’m Saratina, sorry I didn’t introduce myself before.” Turning, she allowed herself to move in front of the male, just as another being had seemed to materialise out of what seemed to be nowhere. Saratina heard the female as she landed on the ground in an almost silent manner. The human on the other hand was gazing about completely oblivious of the fellow who now joined them. As the Mutant-Hybrid came into view, Saratina acted like the other female had come from another direction and knew what to do. “Greetings, hm, yet another person out wandering the lush outer boundaries that is Recluse Forest.” A deceptive smile lit up her features, as Saratina knew that the other female knew that Saratina was a Shifter. Briefly her gaze drifted to the male to see his reaction to the new female that had appeared. “Hm, yes, I agree. We were just talking about that. I was just wandering about; I fancied a change of scene when I spotted him walking on the other side of the road. To me he looked…out of place.” Her voice slipped on the last words.
